Curriculum Design

Three-phase progressive research training system

Phase 1: Foundation & Advancement

Week 1 - Week 3

Solidify academic foundation, quickly enter research context

Under dual guidance from professors and teaching assistants, students intensively master core knowledge required for project topics within 3 weeks, completing the transition from listening to proposing research questions.

PBL teaching mode, weekly professor thematic courses + TA Q&A sessions
Includes Bootcamp, knowledge learning, reading assignments, research direction determination
Week 3 transitions from Lecture → Research, building research thinking framework

Phase 2: Research Practice

Week 4 - Week 7

Produce paper results, complete research cycle

Entering the Research phase, students will complete structurally complete, submittable academic papers under continuous guidance from professors and TAs, participating in graduation defense and project evaluation.

Includes paper proposal, research, design, writing, defense and other core components
Professors provide professional feedback and writing guidance, TAs facilitate implementation throughout
Qualified students receive professor-signed recommendation letters + research evaluation reports

Phase 3: Industry Practice

(Elective Module)

Week 8 - Week 10

Participate in industry projects, obtain dual-track recommendations

Driven by real industry challenges, students complete 'Problem Definition → Case Study → Project Output' within 3 weeks and submit final presentation results.

Industry mentors from consulting, AIGC, algorithms, finance and other trending fields
Projects can be transformed into application essay materials and career development highlights
Project completion provides second recommendation letter from industry mentors, forming dual-track endorsement with professor recommendations
